Brazil is a huge country in size, alone accounts for nearly half of South America with an area 30 times larger than that of Italy, crossed by the mighty Amazon River.
Very rich in terms of natural resources, highly diversified in the presence of multiple traditions and customs, Brazil is a land of stark contrast: geographic, ethnic, social and cultural, where the rich are jealous of their wealth and live behind high walls, where the poor are generous and no child is orphaned because it is always among the neighbors, someone willing to take care of him.

The combination of African traditions, indigenous and European, especially Portuguese, has contributed to the cultural diversity of Brazil. The population is ethnically diverse:

The Indians, the first group, now reduced to a minor who lives on the edge of the forest with their own languages and features
Whites, present from the sixteenth century with the arrival of the Portuguese and later other European peoples. These have contributed to the development and especially at the beginning of evangelization and the constitution of the Christian community, and gives birth to a rich diversity of expression of popular religiosity, which is still alive.
The blacks arrived in Brazil from Africa as slaves to work the plantations, now constitute the majority of the Brazilian population, their contribution to the formation of culture has been considerable, although not fully appreciated and recognized.
Mestizos, that ancestors of different races with Brazilian, African or Indian
Children are amazing demonstration of this intersection of race that knows no divisions, however, whites, mulattos and Indians live together in this wealth of humanity that is Brazil
